A book of condolence has been placed in Holyrood's main hall following the death of Margaret Ewing MSP. Contributions to the book can be submitted online. The Presiding Officer George Reid said in a statement: "The entire Parliament is saddened and shocked by Margaret's death. We extend our deepest sympathy to Fergus and her family. Margaret was a lovely person, well-respected in all parties by Members at Holyrood and Westminster. Her commitment to Scotland over 32 years of public service was as outstanding as it was unstinting."
