COUNCILLOR Linda Gorn has been selected to fight the Moray by-election for the Scottish Liberal Democrats. The seat is vacant following the death of SNP MSP Margaret Ewing last month. Conservative Mary Scanlon is to stand down from Holyrood to seek election in the Moray constituency, while Richard Lochhead, another list MSP, is expected to fight the seat for the SNP.
