Teresa is an experienced Chartered Educational Psychologist with degrees in Science and Psychology. Before joining the Christian Peoples Alliance in 2000, she was Chair of the Dumfries Labour Party and played an important part in the Labour movement in her constituency. In the CPA Teresa's main interests are the formation of policies particularly, on Social Justice and Pro-Life issues. She is local secretary of a major charity for disabled people. Teresa is very active in her parish of St. Teresa's, Dumfries and is Chair of the Pastoral Council. She has completed a Diploma for Pastoral Ministry. She is also a qualified prayer guide and forms part of the diocesan team giving retreats in various parishes throughout the diocese. She is a member of the management committee of an organisation which is reviving a large socially-deprived area of Dumfries. She is married with one daughter.

Joan Dillon is Family and Women's Officer on the Scottish Executive of the Christian Peoples Alliance and Regional List candidate for the Parliament. She is married and lives in Glasgow. Joan is Chairwoman for the LIFE organisation West of Scotland branch and Regional Representative for Scotland, participating in decision making at national level. With a decade's commitment to the pro-life cause, Joan has also worked as a volunteer crisis counsellor and education officer for LIFE. Her duties have included presentations and the development of educational packages for schools in the West of Scotland. In 2005, Joan co-founded the pro-life feminist organization EVE (Every Voice Equal) which is committed to advancing a new philosophy for women that has a pro-life, pro-woman ethos at its centre, counteracting feminist ideologies that, she claims, falsely presume that abortion rights is the key to women's freedom. Graduating with a Masters in Music from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Joan has been the recipient of many scholarships and awards. A professional singer for many years with performances ranging from Opera to Music Theatre to Jazz, she has toured throughout the UK and Europe as well as featuring in recordings and radio broadcasts.

Christian Peoples Alliance
Ian Johnstone was a member of the Labour party for many years, assisting in their campaigns in his local area of Cumbernauld. He left the Party because of a particular concern that it had abandoned its commitment to social justice issues. Ian turned to CPA due to its raft of policies in this area, including increasing the national minimum wage in line with the recommendations of the Low Pay Unit, replacing Council Tax with a fairer local income tax and increasing pensions to £114 per week immediately. Ian currently works as a shop manager and has been a committee member for Abronhill Housing Association and Abronhill Community Council for some years. He is also very active in his local parish of St. Lucy's.
