Kirstin Robb was borna and brought up in East Kilbride. She is a graduate of Aberdeen University, Kirsten also has a Masters in Environmental Management from Stirling University and is active in local campaigns for better schools, support for local shops, and Fair Trade. She is a community activist campaigning for better schools, local shops, green spaces and fair trade. She works for a Development Trust and has a wide range of experience in sustainable development across the region and beyond. She also worked on housing, poverty reduction and training in Tanzania. Standing for the Greens for the first time in the 2005 Westminster election, she achieved one of the best results outside the major cities.

Gary Dunion is an anti-poverty campaigner for the World Development Movement. In this role he co-ordinates activist groups across Scotland campaigning against global poverty. Prior to this he worked as an outdoor educator. He also works part time for the Green MSPs, is International Convener of the Scottish Young Greens, and helps run the European Young Greens' antixenophobia campaign.

Starting working life as a Biology Teacher, in Falkirk for 15 years, David returned to study at Stirling University and gained an MSc in Environmental Management in 1997 before administering a local exchange trading project financed by the Community Fund over a period of three years. David is now National Alliance Coordinator with health charity Action on Smoking and Health Scotland (ASH Scotland), his principal role is as coordinator of the Scottish Tobacco Control Alliance and he played a role in the campaign for smoke-free public places. David has excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills; vital in helping to make the most of the talent of staff and resources of charities and healthcare organisations across Scotland. He is a strong advocate of sustainable local business development and has experience of social business and credit union administration. He is married to Morag, a Primary School Teacher and they have two daughters, one at secondary school the other at University. The family has lived in the Larbert area for 25 years.

Gordon Masterton is an IT Service Delivery Manager working in the Glasgow area and lives on the city's southside with his fiancée and dog. He has been a member of the Scottish Green Party for five years. He is also a longstanding campaigner, especially on peace issues and Palestinian rights, and is a member of Shelter and Greenpeace.
