| Bill Aitken was born on the 15 th April 1947 and educated at Allan Glen's School in Glasgow. From 1965 until 1999 he worked in the Insurance Industry as an insurance undewriter and sales developerfor Eagle Star and AGF Insurance. He was also a District Court Judge from 1985 until 2000. In 1993 he was appointed Deputy Lord Lieutenant of the City of Glasgow. He is single. | Davina Rankin was educated at Knightswood Secondary School in Glasgow and the University of Sussex where she graduated with a BSC (Hons) in Medicinal Chemistry. She worked as a Shop Manager for Marie Curie Cancer Care in 1995 then as a Customer Care Advisor for the TSB Bank plc from 1995 to 1996.
In 1997 she carried out basic training as a Royal Naval Officer and from 1997 until 1998 she worked with the Student & Placement Entrepreneurial Graduate programme, for Nemquest Ltd at the University of Glasgow. She was a Marketing and Publicity Officer for the IBLS Commercial Liaison Office at the University of Glasgow from 1998 until 2000 and then became

| Heather MacLeod has lived in the west end of Glasgow all her life and currently resides in Maryhill. She became aÊ candidate in September, 2006 and this is her first time standing for Holyrood. Qualifying as a Registered General Nurse at Glasgow Royal Infirmary in 1980 Heather has worked in the NHS and in 1990 went into clinical researchÊ in the pharmaceutical industry. She has two daughters, one working in research, the other as a Vet. "The country needs more meaningful engagement from politicians, through public service I wish to impactÊ positively in the lives of others and contribute to making Scotland a better placeÊ for all of us live.
