| A former headteacher in the Western Isles, Raymund has been an active trade unionist and national council member of the Educational Institute of Scotland (EIS). He is currently Chair of Dunoon Fairtrade Committee. Raymund Madill is founder member Co-chommun an Iochdar. He has served as Chair of South Uist Council of Social Service and as Vice-Chair of Community Organisation Group Scotland. For some years he has been a member of the Children's Panel Argyll & Bute. He joined CPA Scotland to express his deep concern about poverty at home and abroad, poor housing and the challenges of urban deprivation. He is also a campaigner on justice for refugees and asylum seekers and against the renewal of Trident and the Iraq war. Raymund has been a member of the Policy Committee of SCVO and member of the Justice & Peace Commission, Scotland. Recent electoral experience | ||

| Mary Murton is from Inverchapel, by Dunoon in Argyll, where she has worked as a hotelier. After her youngest son died of leukaemia aged 10, Mary joined Scottish CND. She has been an active campaigner since against radiation and all nuclear power, demonstrating at a series of locations. Mary is a member locally of Justice and Peace and works as a volunteer for SIR (Scottish International Relief), where she has worked to raise awareness of development issues facing the countries of southern Africa. As well as raising 3 children of her own, Mary is a grandmother of 8 and has been a foster-mother. She says she always tries to 'stand-up and be counted' and is keen to see a moral change in the direction of Scottish life and politics. Recent electoral experience | ||
