| Peter Adams has been the UKIPScotland Organiser since July 06 as well as the secretary of the UKIPFife branch. He combines this with running a business as an Independent Distributor for Neways International (UK) Ltd and MyVideoTalk. Peter is secretary of the Kingdom of Fife Orienteers, a trustee of the Just Rural Development (JRD) Trust as well as being a member of Kirkcaldy and Levenmouth Community Health Partnership Public Partnership Forum (PPF). He served a full career in the Royal Engineers being promoted through the Ranks before being commissioned in 1990 and is now the Chairman of the Fife Branch of the Royal Engineers Association. During his career he saw service in Aden, Gibraltar, Kenya, Germany, Northern Ireland and Saudi Arabia during the first Gulf War. Having passed the All Arms Commando Course he served with 59 Commando Squadron RE in support of the Commando Brigade. A keen all-round sportsman, he represented the Royal Engineers at orienteering and his various Regiments at athletics including 5 marathons. Before leaving the Army was the Regimental Families Officer and Health and Safety Adviser. On leaving the Regular Army was employed as a Permanent Staff Admin Officer with 104 Field Squadron Royal Engineer (Volunteers) in Edinburgh until the disbandment of the Squadron in 1999 as part of the TA(V)R restructuring. Living in Kirkcaldy since 1993 with his wife Anita, has a daughter and son from his previous marriage. Having lived in Germany for ten years was concerned by the way that the UK Governments were increasingly signing away British rights to the EU and unelected European Commission. Became deeply concerned by the increasingly obvious inability of the major parties to protect the interest of the British people. Joined UKIP as they were the only party pledged to returning the Government of the United Kingdom to the British people. Special areas of interest, Environmental and Nutritional Health.
