| Hugh has wide experience in the field of education - having served as Assistant Director of Education of two large local authorities - Stirling County and Central Regional Council. He also worked as headteacher of state secondary schools both in Scotland and England. Between 2001 and 2003, Hugh was Councillor on Larbert and Stenhousemuir Community Council. He was founder and chairman of the Family Action Movement in Scotland and stood as a candidate for Westminster on two occasions. Happily married with 5 children, Hugh has lived in Larbert, Stirlingshire for 30 years, where he is also Eucharistic Minister and RCIA leader in his parish church. Recent electoral experience | ||
