On the 26 th November 2002, Dr Richard Simpson resigned as Deputy Minister for Justice after allegedly describing striking Firemen as 'fascists' and 'bastards'.
Hugh Henry was appointed as Deputy Minister for Justice in his place.
Frank McAveety was promoted from the backbenches to Deputy Minister for Health & Community Care in place of Hugh Henry.
