Frank McAveety MSP (Labour, Glasgow Shettleston) resigned as Labour's Sports spokesman and as Convenor of the Petitions committee on the 16 th June 2010 after being overheard making comments concerning a member of the public.
Bill Butler was appointed as the party's sports spokesman.
Rhona Brankin was nominated by Labour the replacement Petitions committee convener.
